About Moms of Action

Meet Elizabeth

I’ve been around education and computers for many years. I received my bachelor’s degree in education from West Virginia State College in 1961, and later earned my master’s degree in counseling from Bowie State College in 1975.

Teaching became my career. I spent 35 years teaching middle and high school, and I loved every minute of it.

Our Community

Moms of Action is an online community where friends meet each day to share advice, make new friends, and connect. It is a place worth spending time in, learning and embracing the power of moms taking action together. Our community strives to provide the latest and greatest information for families in Washington, D.C.

Our Mission

At Moms of Action, our mission is to build a community of trust, respect, and relationships. We share tried-and-tested ideas that help moms grow as leaders – in their homes, their businesses, and their neighborhoods – and that help families reach their goals, both personal and financial.
